Dogs have been my life and my passion for over 30 years. I started working dogs when I was 16 and have trained just about every breed there is. I’ve trained and handled hunting dogs, protection dogs, narcotics and explosive detection dogs, SAR dogs, cadaver dogs, and have experience teaching everything from basic to advanced obedience. Personal and family protection is my speciality which is why I started my Practical Protection Dog club (PPD).
During my 30 years I have imported, bred and raised dogs for both personal use and for clients. Building my War and Peace lines has been extremely important to me and is why I am very selective about what is produced on my yard.
I’ve always based my breeding on stable minds, athletic ability, drive and defensive nature. I breed purely for work and not for show. My lines of Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds have gone on to work for police departments, search and rescue, personal protection and sport homes. They speak for themselves and I could not be more proud of the time spent creating them.
I always say “If it don’t work, it don’t breed!” Also, “Papers don’t bite, but my dogs do!”
